6350 - Lupus Rating
An evaluation of 100 percent is granted whenever there are constitutional manifestations associated with serous or synovial membrane or visceral involvement, or other totally incapacitating symptom combinations. 100
An evaluation of 80 percent is assigned whenever there are symptom combinations productive of severe impairment of health. A higher evaluation of 100 percent is not warranted unless there is evidence of constitutional manifestations associated with serous or synovial membrane or visceral involvement, or other totally incapacitating symptom combinations. 80
An evaluation of 60 percent is assigned if there are frequent exacerbations with multiple joint and organ manifestations productive of moderately severe impairment of health. A higher evaluation of 80 percent is not warranted unless evidence demonstrates symptom combinations productive of severe impairment of health. 60
An evaluation of 30 percent is granted whenever there is indication of exacerbations of a week or more two or three times a year, or symptomatology productive of moderate impairment of health. A higher evaluation of 60 percent is not warranted unless there is evidence of frequent exacerbations with multiple joint and organ manifestations productive of moderately severe impairment of health. 30
An evaluation of 10 percent is assigned for exacerbations once or twice a year, or a condition which was symptomatic during the past two years. A higher evaluation of 30 percent is not warranted unless there is evidence of exacerbations of a week or more two or three times a year, or symptomatology productive of moderate impairment of health. 10
