6316 - Undulant fever Rating
An evaluation of 100 percent is granted for an active incapacitating febrile disease (initial or recurrent episode) with arthritis, endocarditis, uveitis, or other complications. 100
An evaluation of 50 percent is assigned whenever there is evidence of severe disease with frequent febrile episodes. A higher evaluation of 100 percent is not warranted unless evidence demonstrates an active incapacitating febrile disease (initial or recurrent episode) with arthritis, endocarditis, uveitis, or other complications. 50
An evaluation of 30 percent is assigned for evidence of moderately severe symptomatology with not more than one febrile episode in three months. A higher evaluation of 50 percent is not warranted unless evidence demonstrates severe disease with frequent febrile episodes. 30
An evaluation of 10 percent is assigned for moderate symptoms with infrequent febrile episodes, but with fatigability, moderate depression. A higher evaluation of 30 percent is not warranted unless the record shows moderately severe symptomatology with not more than one febrile episode in three months. 10
