6313 - Vitamin deficiency Rating
An evaluation of 100 percent is granted if the record shows marked mental changes, moist dermatitis, inability to retain adequate nourishment, exhaustion, and cachexia. 100
An evaluation of 60 percent is granted whenever there is indication of severe symptomatology with nervous or mental symptoms and impairment of bodily vigor. A higher evaluation of 100 percent is not warranted unless there is evidence of marked mental changes, moist dermatitis, inability to retain adequate nourishment, exhaustion, and cachexia. 60
An evaluation of 40 percent is assigned for moderately severe symptoms with stomatitis, persistent diarrhea, and symmetrical dermatitis. A higher evaluation of 60 percent is not warranted unless there is evidence of severe symptomatology with nervous or mental symptoms and impairment of bodily vigor. 40
An evaluation of 20 percent is assigned for moderate symptoms with stomatitis, achlorhydria, or recurring diarrhea. A higher evaluation of 40 percent is not warranted unless there is evidence of moderately severe symptoms with stomatitis, persistent diarrhea, and symmetrical dermatitis. 20
An evaluation of 10 percent is granted for mild symptomatology with vague digestive disturbances, loss of appetite and weight, slight diarrhea, headache, and vertigo. A higher evaluation of 20 percent is not warranted unless evidence demonstrates moderate symptoms with stomatitis, achlorhydria, or recurring diarrhea. 10
